I'm back.

Ah, it feels so good to be back blogging.

Some of you may have noticed that i locked my blog for a particular period...
It was out of limits to everyone but me. Just before exams commenced, something really unfortunate happened to me (not specifically me). It really hit me hard, and felt so depressed. I wanted to shut off from everything i liked to do. Like blogging, for example.
I didn't really want to talk to anybody and usually, if i feel that way, i would resort to blogging. But since its such a private matter, i locked my blog to restrain myself. Also, with exams so near, i needed to focus.

And yes, it did really help. I think this is the longest period of time i've abstained from blogging since i started : D

Everything's gotten better now, and what this incident has taught me is that i shouldn't take things for granted and i should always Always give thanks every single day.

God works in mysterious ways, i guess...

And just for the record, I am so grateful to have met people i have met, who have made me smile in more ways than one. To have a family who i know cares for me deeply (and me, about them) even though i always say they annoy me to the max...

*sniff*

Let me have my emo moment.

5 seconds later...

Okay, i'm done. Trust me, i had enough of emo moments before exam :s

Oh and by the way,

I had my last sem 2 paper today! Relief!
There was this girl, sitting behind me and she finished the paper 50 minutes PRIOR the ending time. I was around 3 questions (with subquestions) away from finishing @.@

She. is. insane.

No slaving away and burying my head in books and notes and using up tonnes of paper and ink for the next 4 months. Yippee!

Why am i not out "partying" , you ask? Mana all my kawan gone to?? Hah, i already went out before exams ended -.- Because all my kawan finished their papers earlier. Its a good thing actually...gives me a chance to catch up on my beauty sleep.

Exams x stress x lack of sleep = Panda eyes, Eye bags, and ZITS.

Not a very pretty sight...
And more importantly, there's a financial recession in my purse.

Sigh, i hope my old workplace takes me back!

Throwing me off the edge.

Post Secret

Of those times where you are rudely awaken,
By the sudden reality of everything.

I didn't see this coming, at all.

And i don't have anybody to talk to at this hour.
How can i go to sleep now?

I am very thankful;

If you saw an accident, would you help ? If the victim was on the ground - injured, helpless?

In these circumstances, i know i would be afraid.
If the person who caused the accident was still in sight, it is very understandable to be scared.

But however the circumstances - during or after, if you would offer your help (without being asked)...

...Bless You

; And terrified at the same time.

To Uni on a Saturday.

Wasn't supposed to, but the things i do for my friends *cheeky grin*
The Surprise worked out well ! (with a few complications here and there -__-)
Would love to elaborate more, but time is running out for me at the moment.

Scheming can be quite a tiring task, i must say : D

Sacrifice.

Today has been VERY VERY productive. Not just for studying : D

On the way home,I gave my sit up in the bus for a lady (who wasn't elderly, though).
She smiled at me as if she was saying "Thank You".
After doing so, i thought to myself, did my actions make her feel like she's really old and needed to sit down more than i did?
Hmmm
*laughs*

Don't think too much lah, nicole...

I got myself back into doing something i haven't done in awhile.
Reeeeee-freshing (:

Hazelnut coffee i drank today made me h-h-h-hyper

Uni: today, tomorrow, day after?

Maybe not the day after.

There's nothing more wonderful than making someone smile.
Besides being in love
(:

Anticipating...Mm...

Dear Diary,

Whoops! Wrong journal : P

I had a dream that i missed my 8am lecture today.
Flustered, i awoke to find that it was only 5am.
Grr
But i liked the fact that i had 2 more hours of sleep : D

I hope i don't have one of those dreams during the day of my exams, which are all at 8.30am in the morning
*Note to self*
Set 2 alarms PLUS
Ask mom/dad to be my human alarm.

This week has been basically all about revision.
Lectures to review and narrow down topics
Still, there are LOADS to cover.
Just a really scary reminder of how much i have to study.

Photobucket

I've noticed a dramatic decline of my Monash contacts on MSN. Guess everybody's not in the mood to IM hahah

Same here. I haven't been on FB in a few weeks now *proud*
No mood to instant message either hahah
But i still love my blog (so, keep coming back!)
*grins*

During exam periods, Yin has told me (twice already) me that i look all calm and collected when meanwhile, other people are stressing (out loud).
come close, i'll tell you a secret.

I'm actually Screaming on the inside.
(why do you think i blog so much???!! hahah)

I guess, i put on a brave face *laughs*

Exactly 1 week to exams.
Crunch crunch crunch...

Tomorrow, tomorrow, i love ya, tomorrow...
You're only a dayyyy awayyyy
*double cheeky weeky winks*

Fetish for stationary.

You must be wondering why i'm posting up a photo of a set of ball point pens i bought...

Well, there's an itsy bitsy story behind it.

Come exams, come new stationary! ( not always a must, but its nice when you write with a new pen during exams. and also for backup sake)

I really like G-soft pens cause their not like other ball point pens i use. Where the ink doesn't come out at times. I'm not too sure whether its the "curse of the lefties" but i used to hate using ball point pens cause after a while, the ink just doesn't come out. My other friends (who are coincidentally righties) didn't encounter such problems.
Anyhoos, the G-soft pens have really thin and sharp tips which are the type i always go for.
I need those kind, otherwise my writing will be total crap *pardon the language* hehe

(hah, their not paying me to write this okay)

So yeah, i was thrilled that they stocked them in Mydin.

Naturally, i went to get some. It kind of surprised me, how many different types they had.
Different diameter tips, different assortment of colors, different "model" numbers,
It all looked really complicated, trust me.

I knew what i wanted though, a really thin tip. But what puzzled me was the fact that some came in different packaging (some looked more professional), along with different prices. And i stood there scanning everything to find out why. Everything just seemed to look the same.

I spent a good 5-10 minutes looking.

I came to a conclusion that, i shouldn't spend so much time finding the right pen. If i had more time, i would scrutinize the whole pen area (Mmm fun...) I'm not being sarcastic about it, okay?

And fyi, i ended up buying the more "pro" looking packaging ; D
What?
Attractive packaging says a lot for us girls *wink*

There's something about new stationary that makes me happy inside : D
It should be functional and pretty (bonus) of course...
hehe!

Love me for a reason

Hm, was watching MTV today and there was a music video featuring a singer who was so familiar to me.

His name is Stephen Gately.

The next video was of Boyzone, 'No matter what'

And then i realized, no wander i recognized him. He was a former member of Boyzone. One of the leads, in fact.
(Doesn't ring any bells? How bout Ronan Keating?)

I enjoyed the music video and it sort of took me back to my childhood days where i used to be a real teeny bopper for them.I think they were the first boyband ever. And i was really crazy about them then. Especially for Stephen (who was the cutest of them all hehe)

I noticed at the top of the tv screen "Stephen Gately Tribute" and then i thought to myself, they would only do a tribute if someone had passed away, noh?
My suspicions were confirmed when i saw a little marquee appear at the bottom of the screen saying that "Fans mourn the loss..."

Oh gosh. He's really gone. And he was only 33 years of age...
From what i read online, he died of natural causes.

I proceeded to watch the next few videos of Boyzone.

Some really good classics that i think alot of people would find familiar

  • Everyday I love you (emo...)
  • Love me for a reason (the video is really cheesy, but the song is really good. I felt so irked at one of their outfits too... *shivers*)

I was surprised that i could still remember the lyrics... *blush*

He's the one on the most right.

This is their come-back album after 9 years of hiatus...

; And let the reason be love. (:

Sharing the good times.

1. I'm drinking coconut water now.
I love coconut water!

2. I had big arse strawberries to munch on today :3

See how BIG this one is?

But bigger doesn't mean better (;
Though this one was pretty juicy looking heheh
The taste was alright. Wasn't that sweet.

I cross my fingers and toes that the plan to go to Camerons' after my exams materializes.
My cousins' friend knows the owner of the Strawberry Farm.
Which means...Free extra strawberries.
I'm a strawberry freak, if you didn't know.

3. The purse my dad redeemed for me is finally here.

I like packages.

If i were to buy one of these outside, i think it would set me back to at least rm200.
I'm so lucky to get this for free : D

It arrived after i waited over a month -____-
That didn't go without having to call the company up several times.
Geez, the people @ **** are so inefficient! However, the Rm100 voucher that came along with it made my day : D
Though that means it is highly likely that money will flow out of my pocket later on...
I'm pretty content with the purse. Finally i can keep coins in one place ",
I guess it'll last me at least 2 years...

Since its the exam season, i'm guessing people are too busy to blog/blog hop.
So perhaps, if i write something scandalous, nobody would (or bother to)read.

HEH HEH HEH

oh, and Happy Deepavali (tomorrow).
I can see the glimmer of candle flames in the distance (my neighbours' house)
Not a sight you see everyday...
Very pretty (:

Am hoping that my mom brings back some Muruku from the open house tomorrow.
I like muruku. Alot. *take note* hehe

I didn't watermark the photos. Too lazy...

ps. Love shouldn't be so melancholy.
Maybe, i'm given a second chance.
(:
